PMS392CM Principal Technician

Education and General Professional Experience:
Associates degree in any technical discipline or 5-10 years professional experience in US Navy submarine operations and maintenance. US naval shipyard and/or Naval Sea Systems Command experience preferred.

Duties:
*Manage & coordinate U.S. Navy submarine 3M system processes for completing Material Condition Assessment (MCA) reports.
*Manage & coordinate U.S. Navy submarine Unrestricted Operation Maintenance Requirement Card (URO/MRC) requirements.
*Manage & coordinate the Electronic Departure from Specifications (DFS) program to include permanent and temporary DFSs.
*Interact daily or as required with US Navy representatives for customer feedback and provide timely response to requirements.
*Coordinate analysis, evaluation and studies of data to determine if a submarine can continue to operate safely beyond the designed hull life.

Clearance:
Must be able to obtain at least a DoD SECRET clearance

Senior Program Analyst

Tasks:
*Assist Submarine Program Office personnel in initiating, managing, and measuring efficiencies across all areas of program office responsibility.
*Provide alternative solutions and recommendations towards solving submarine operational and maintenance program challenges.
*Plans, coordinates, and executes projects including use of analysis tools and software applications to implement solutions.

Requirements:
*BS/BA (or equivalent experience) with more than 10 years relevant experience in Submarine Programs.
*BS engineering or science related program preferred.
*Expertise in MS Access and other software applications to help analyze and present data for review and decision support.
*Expertise in MS Office Suite including macro development

Location:
Washington, DC Metro area.
Some travel may be required.
Depending on clients’ needs, some telework and/or virtual office may be possible.

Clearance:
Must be able to obtain at least a DoD SECRET clearance.


Senior Program Analyst

Tasks:
*Assist senior level Submarine Program Office personnel in planning, managing, executing, and reporting of Submarine Team One initiatives.
*Provide alternative solutions and recommendations towards solving submarine operational, maintenance, quality assurance, modernization and budgeting challenges while satisfying multiple stakeholder issues.
*Plans, coordinates, and directs projects; organizes and assigns staff, as needed; and directs integration of multiple tasks.

Requirements:
*BS/BA (or equivalent experience) with more than 10 years relevant experience in Submarine Programs.
*Minimum six years US Navy submarine experience preferred.
*Expertise in MS Office Suite.

Washington, DC Metro area.
Some travel may be required.

Applicants should have a minimum of a BS (mechanical, electrical, marine, materials, etc.), demonstrated organizational skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and demonstrated Microsoft Office skills. One year’s experience in a professional environment considered a plus. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance, level of which depends on client’s requirements. Work sites are located in the Washington, DC area. Some travel required.
