Benefits Open Enrollment

If you are currently enrolled in the HSA and/or FSA, please remember you must sign in to the new Universal Benefit Account to access your account(s) going forward and to enroll for the new plan year.  Please refer to the attached flyer for additional information.  If you are enrolling for the first time, you must complete a paper enrollment form.

TASC will continue to administer the FSA Run Out, Carryover and Rollover claims for the 2019 plan year through February 28, 2021.  Therefore, starting December 1st you will have to submit claims manually after the end of the current plan year for expenses incurred from December 1, 2019 through November 30, 2020.

Please remember benefit elections and changes cannot be made outside the Open Enrollment period unless you experience a Qualified Life Event such as a change in marital status, the birth of a child, a change in your spouse’s work status or coverage, etc. EXCEPT for the HSA, Transit, Parking and NESP FSA accounts which can be changed throughout the plan year.

OPEN ENROLLMENT – IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Open Enrollment BEGINS on November 2, 2020.
  • Open Enrollment ENDS on November 13, 2020. 
  • All Open Enrollment elections are EFFECTIVE December 1, 2019.

MEETINGS – WEBINARS:

  • October 30th at 10:00 am
  • November 2 at 2:00 pm

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ATTEND ONE OF THE OPEN ENROLLMENT MEETINGS TO HEAR ABOUT THE 2020 PLAN YEAR HIGHLIGHTS AND THE SWITCH TO PRINCIPAL FOR OUR LIFE, DISABILITY, DENTAL, VISION, AND VOLUNTARY LIFE BENEFITS. 

Meeting invites will be sent for the Open Enrollment meetings and will include a copy of the Power Point for employees without WebEx access in order to follow the presentation when dialing in to one of the meetings.

Benefit summaries, enrollments instructions, and Summary of Benefits will be posted on the Company (P:) drive and the employee portal by November 2.

I encourage you to review your current benefit elections to ensure you are making the best choices for you and your dependents, including verifying your life insurance beneficiaries are up to date.
