We are very excited to announce that Patrona will be participating in Kreative’s Virtual 5k for CASA Children’s Intervention Services from now until December 31, 2020. Unlike our Golf Tournament, that we host every year, this event will be completely virtual using peer-to-peer fundraising to raise money for CASA Children’s Intervention Services. You may already be familiar with CASA but in case you are not, this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization provides abused and neglected children in our area with court appointed special advocates (CASA). These highly trained volunteer advocates speak up on their child’s behalf and help them through what is often a very confusing and difficult time. It takes $1,500 for CASA to provide one child with a single advocate for one full-year.
Patrona has vowed to match up to $2,500 in donations and is hoping that, if we all work together, we can raise at least $5,000 for abused and neglected children in need. This means at least three children in our area will be provided an advocate who will give them a voice and a chance at a better life. So, we are kindly asking that you help us reach our goal in raising funds for CASA so they can continue to do their incredible and selfless work. This is a virtual 5k so, no, you do not technically have to run or walk. However, these are strange times and it is an opportunity to get out and do something for yourself and for someone else. Let’s end this year on a positive note and do something that, not only, we as an organization can feel proud of but we as individuals can feel proud of as well.
