Throughout the pandemic Patrona’s Northeast Operations continued to successfully provide services to our customers including administrative support to Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport and Administrative and Technical support to Submarine Maintenance, Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) activity. Despite the continued challenges brought on by the pandemic, the Northeast Operations personnel employed teamwork and implemented creative solutions to ensure timely completion of all tasking. In addition, Northeast Operations expanded its administrative and engineering services supporting SUBMEPP. Our SUBMEPP administrative team provided additional support in the training and security areas; we expanded our maintenance planning and iForecast team, added additional support for availability work packaging, and pivoted to planned maintenance support of Virginia Block V submarines.
Our ability to develop and adhere to reasonable COVID-19 protocols in our Dover office has enabled our customer and employees to safely meet and utilize our office and conference room. As a result, the Dover office has hosted several SUBMEPP meetings in support of their Fleet Support efforts.
Our Dover Operations team has maintained an office presence throughout the pandemic with approximately 25 people reporting to the office through June. We continue to “phase in” additional personnel into the Dover office, reaching approximately 60% occupancy in July and are targeting a full (100%) return to office this fall. Additionally, Northeast Operations has 11 individuals reporting to SUBMEPP, Building 86, in Kittery, Maine daily.
Patrona Corporation’s Northeast Operations has once again exhibited its ability to be responsive to our customer’s needs by quickly adapting to these ever-changing conditions.
