Patrona Corporation has become a proud supporter of The Honor Bear Project. This organization strives to raise awareness of Veteran and First Responder suicide. One Honor Bear Project initiative involves the set-up of flag displays around New England to provide a visual reminder of the high numbers of service members and First Responders lost each month in our nation: 660 Veterans, 40+ Active Duty, National Guard and Reservists, and 120+ First Responders. The Honor Bear Project also seeks ways to be supportive and provide respite for those in need. One such activity is the Veteran Fishing Trip. Participants head out to sea on a private charter for an 8-10 hour excursion. The goal is to provide a relaxed atmosphere and an opportunity to connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges. The hope is that these heroes realize they are not alone and that there are many resources available to help them.
Patrona Corporation appreciates the opportunity to support these brave men and women.
