Supporting the Next Generation

Patrona Corporation is proud to once again donate to this year’s International Submarine Race that will be held at the David Taylor Model Basin at the end of June. The Foundation for Underwater Research and Education sponsors this biennial competition. Teams of students from around the world travel to our area to participate in this race. They work with their group to design, construct and test their man-powered underwater craft. This event provides an opportunity for our youth to put their science and engineering skills to the test and see what they can achieve.
